1. Mountain View City Council meeting on June 5th between 5:30 - 7 pm ,  Mountain
View City Hall,
Council Chambers, 2nd floor  City Council voted to proceed with the annexation of the Grant Road Farm, effectively shutting the door on efforts to save the farm on Grant Road.

2. Mountain View City Council Study Session on May 8th between 5 - 7 pm ,  Mountain
View City Hall,
Council Chambers, 2nd floor

At this meeting, the City Council heard the depth of support from the community for saving the farm.  The presentation shown to the City Council can be viewed by clicking here.   Farmland supporters provided impressive testimony to the City Council at the meeting and we hope they left an impression.  The City Council received 170 letters of support according to the City Clerk and 7 letters opposed (although more letters may have gone directly to council members).  We handed in 1500 petition signatures, and garnered major organizational support as well, including the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.

The Mountain View Chamber of Commerce has provided a letter of support, which is a very significant endorsement of further study of the farm land proposal (click here to view letter).

Approximately 60 people attended this informal community meeting to hear the
Mountain View Farmlands Group proposal and discuss the results from its commissioned economic study of the farm/alternative
subdivision.
